The basic ingredients of yogurt muffins include flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and yogurt. These ingredients are mixed together to form a smooth batter, which is then baked into individual muffin tins. In addition, various flavors, such as vanilla or lemon zest, can be added to enhance the muffin's flavor.

In addition to its delicious taste, yogurt muffins also have nutritional benefits. The yogurt added to the muffin batter is a source of calcium and protein, which are essential for bone and muscle health. Yogurt muffins are also low in fat, making them a healthier option compared to other baked goods.

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams flour

  • 220 grams Greek yogurt (room temperature)

  • 220 grams Greek yogurt (room temperature)

  • 130 grams butter (softened)

  • 1 lemon zest

  • 170 grams sugar

  • 16 grams baking powder (for desserts)

  • salt

Preparation Method:

  1. To begin, we will take the eggs and butter out of the refrigerator, and we will leave them for about 30 minutes, at room temperature.

  2. We will put the butter with the sugar in the mixer, and we will mix them for about 10 minutes, on medium speed, until it becomes a foamy consistency.

  3. We will add the whole eggs one by one, taking care that each egg is well incorporated, when we add another.

  4. We will add the yogurt little by little, salt and lemon zest, and we will continue to mix them until they are well homogenized.

  5. In a bowl, mix the baking powder with the flour, and we will add the flour to the yogurt composition, mixing gently.

  6. We will pour the composition into baking molds, up to the edge of the mold.

  7. Once we have filled the molds, we put them in the preheated oven at 180 degrees, for 30 minutes or until they are golden on the surface.

  8. When the yogurt muffins are ready, let them cool and decorate them with vanilla powdered sugar or whatever you like.

Enjoy your meal!
